Irish Seeds – Crown Prince Pumpkin

Lovely silver blue skin contrasts beautifully with its bright orange dense flesh. Sweet and nutty flavour which is second to none. Very productive and a great storage pumpkin.

Mid April until late May
Sow individual seeds into small pots (7 cm) or large modules and keep in a warm place. Pot on into a 10 cm pot when ready. Plant out in late May-June after hardening off. Initial protection with a cloche is beneficial.

Spacing: between plants 1.2m They always need more space than you expect so don’t skimp on bed size.
