Material
The handle is made from rapidly renewable Moso bamboo and is biodegradable. During its two-year growth phase, Moso bamboo can reach heights of up to 20 meters. Artificial irrigation is not used in our bamboo cultivation, and neither are pesticides or other chemicals. 

Consistently eco-friendly are the solvent-free paints from the natural paint manufacturer AURO, which are used to color the handles.

The bio-based bristles are derived from castor oil. The oil extracted from the plant is processed into bio-nylon and is free from BPA and petroleum.
